CUSTOMER NEEDS<\/h5>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”8px”][vc_column_text css=””]SC Centro Meridiana Lecco, the management body of a well-known real estate complex located in the heart of Lecco, availed itself of our professional service to organize the transfer of 5 sculptures, \u201cShingu sails\u201d (named after the well-known Japanese artist who created them) from the top of the towers of the Center to a Vicenza-based company specialized in the storage of similar structures.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”50px”][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”red-text”]<\/p>\n

THE FEASIBILITY STUDY<\/h5>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”8px”][vc_column_text css=””]The execution of the task was preceded by preliminary technical and organizational analyses, aimed at ensuring that the delicate operations of dismantling at height, lifting, grounding, loading and transport (made even more difficult by the constraint of being able to perform them only at night) were completed effectively and in conditions of maximum safety.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”50px”][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”red-text”]<\/p>\n

PREPARATION AND EXECUTION<\/h5>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”8px”][vc_column_text css=””]In close collaboration with the Client and with the numerous Professionals involved in the project in various capacities, we planned a solution that would allow the entire service to be completed within 3 nights. First, suitable reinforcing sheets were laid to safeguard the stability of the flooring of the Centre, which was put to the test by the passage of cranes and vehicles of considerable mass. Subsequently, a powerful 350-ton crane was positioned in the centre of the central square of the complex; the crane was appropriately armed and its arm was extended by installing special metal extensions.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”50px”][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”red-text”]<\/p>\n

FLYING OVER LECCO<\/h5>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”8px”][vc_column_text css=””]With the fundamental support of Forti Sollevamenti company and the companies responsible for dismantling the \u201cSails\u201d, located on top of the towers at over 70 meters above the ground, the lifting operations began immediately after. The evocative moment of \u201cflight\u201d, as documented by the images below, brought the sculptures to the ground. Here they were temporarily fixed on a concrete block and, through the simultaneous intervention of 2 cranes and a lifting platform, dismantled into the three parts that compose them: sail body, column and crosspiece.<\/p>\n

Through 10 road transports, organized ad hoc and carried out immediately after the conclusion of the lifting operations, the sculptures were delivered to the expert hands of those who had the task of restoring them.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”50px”][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”red-text”]<\/p>\n

UP THERE AGAIN, MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN EVER<\/h5>\n
